We're feeling a little guilty for having slept on Nordic three-piece Pomelo throughout the summer months. How we could have paired their soothing, sun-bleached pop songs 'Heal' and 'Breeze' with a tall glass of Pimms on the handful of warm days we saw in London. Not to worry, the Copenhagen troupe's bold, blocky soul-flecked grooves should help fight back the fading light and onset of winter nicely. 'Breeze' has more than a whiff of London collective Jungle's sleek tropical funk to it, while their debut 'Heal' could easily pass for an earwormy alt-J b-side with it's quirky percussive tweaks and blend of guitar textures.
